Description
The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( PerlMsg ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: < application name> error: 0, Oops, cannot create < application name> object!

From a newsgroup post: "This error appeared when I was writing a simple application based on the sample code, which declared a "package main" below the "package PerlSvc" code. In the Startup loop, I made calls into functions in "main", but forgot to preface them with "main::". Use something like this:

}".
Occurs when the Perl compiler runtime cannot instantiate an object from a COM object created with ActiveState Perl Developer Kit.
