Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
Unable to generate an e-mail address because the site address SMTP:<email address> is bad.
|English: Request a translation of the event description in plain English.|
As per Microsoft: "This event occurs if, when you try to add an address of type Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) to the default recipient policy, you use an incorrectly formatted entry". See MSEX2KDB for additional information about this event.
See ME839500 to resolve this problem.
Remember to put in the @ first when you generate new SMTP e-mail addresses under <server>-Recipients-Recipient Policies-Default Policy-Properties-e-mail addresses fan in Exchange 2000 System Manager or this error will be generated in the Application Log. Example: @microsoft.com not just microsoft.com.
