Uninstall ZoneAlarm and also delete its log files and the *.lbd and *.rdb files from the \winnt\internet logs folder. Re-install ZoneAlarm with its latest updates. The computer freezes because the firewall (ZoneAlarm) is unable to resolve incoming packets as good or bad".
