Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
The Subscription WSManSelRg could not be activated on target machine localhost due to a reachability error. Error Code is 0x0. All retries have been performed before reaching this point and so the subscription will remain inactive on this target until subscription is resubmitted / reset.

Wecsvc is the Windows Event Collector service which is new to Windows Server 2003 R2 and Vista. It works in conjunction with WinRM to collect events from multiple computers and to store them locally. To specify which events to collect, a subscription has to be created. When Wecsvc fails, it is likely WinRM produced errors in the Application event log as well. To quickly stop these warnings from occurring in the event logs, uninstall "Hardware Monitor" through "Add/Remove Windows Components".
