Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

- Application: wspsrv.exe, module: w3filter.dll - The firewall service started but stopped again after about 30 seconds. I deleted the cache file and the service started normally.
From a newsgroup post: "I found the reason to why this happens. It was a 3rd party application patch named "Surfcontrol webfilter" that was causing ISA 2004 firewall sp2 to stop, but as Surfcontrol is more important to me then sp2, i uninstalled sp2 from my servers and everything came back to normal".
