- Application: outlook.exe, module: outlfltr.dll - Outlook was crashing while downloading an email from the user's POP account. While in Outlook 2007, I noticed an email was downloaded 20+ times. I accessed the user's email account via the web and saw the same email in the online Inbox. Deleted the offending email from the online Inbox and Outlook stopped crashing.
I had this problem after leaving Outlook open overnight when the exchange server was rebooted. My pst file was corrupted somehow so recreating the mail profile and creating a new pst fixed the problem.
- Application: outlook.exe, module: outlook.exe - This problem occurs if you process many e-mail messages at the same time. See ME954800
for a hotfix applicable to Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Microsoft Office Outlook, when used with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0.
- Application: outlook.exe, module: olmapi32.dll - The mapi32.dll file could have been overwritten by some other application and must be fixed by executing c:\windows\system32\fixmapi.exe which will restore the original dll. In most cases, this is caused by Exchange Management Tools or other mail clients.
In my case, I fixed this problem by uninstalling "CutePDF".
In my case, Outlook 2007 crashed whenever I clicked "Send" on a new e-mail. I fixed the problem by uninstalling Voltage Secure Mail3. My Office Enterprise 2007 was an in-place upgrade from Office 2003, and you may not have the same problem if you uninstall Office 2003 and do a clean install of Office 2007.
