Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

This may be caused if you have installed IIS on your Virtual Centre Server. Run VPXD -s if you receive "[VpxdReverseProxy] Failed to create http proxy: Resource is already in use: Listen socket: :80" in the output then you have another application running on port 80 (most likely another web server). After stopping the IIS service I could start Virtual Centre again.
From a newsgroup post: "This seems to be a normal error message. VC is polling the ccagents and not getting a response back quickly enough".
