Exchange server component Microsoft Exchange failed. Error: 0x8000ffff - An unxpected error occurred.
=> when you get this error when uninstalling Exchange 2003, first make sure that all mailbox and public folder stores are deleted from the server, then run setup.exe from the Exchange CD to uninstall it instead of using Add/Remove Programs from Control Panel.
Component: "Hub Transport Role".  Error is timeout on service start. This problem can occur due to use of Managed code.  If the exchange server does not have access to the internet then cannot be accessed and causes timeouts on installation and subsequent service start (see also ME944752).
