Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

What is the role of the Windows Search Service?
I got this message on a quad-core system run XP64 and has 4g ram and a raptor (Dell Optiplex 755). It should be screaming fast but it is just "ho-hum" fast. It also lags intermittently and occasionally bluescreens when I insert or remove a USB thumb drive. To be fair to it I do run a VM on it and keep a huge amount of programs running. I use it to ghost off HDDs Scan user HDDs for malware back up gigs of email form users transfer gigs of data across the network burn CDs/DVDs and many other user support activities. Yes all drivers are loaded and up to date. I loaded 2 of these the same way at the same time and mine does not work right but the other one does.
