Error <error code> occurred while rendering message 0001-000000035745 for download for user <user email>.
- Error code: 0x800cce21 - See ME309216 for information on this problem.

- Error code: 0x8004050a - From a newsgroup post: "This error stands for ERROR_THREAD_ALREADY_IN_RESERVE. Based on my research, this issue is always caused by anti-virus software installed on the Exchange Server. To check whether Exchange-aware AV is enabled, check the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\VirusScan. If the "Enabled" value is set to 1, then Exchange-aware AV is enabled. Please contact the AV vendor for an engine update. This has resolved multiple related cases.

This error can appear if Outlook clients that are connecting to the Exchange 2000 server are configured with both the Internet E-mail and Microsoft Exchange Server services in the same client profile. Please read ME284271 for more details".
As per Microsoft: "This error is an occasional timing error caused by the mailbox not being locked during use. This error can be safely ignored unless you get these errors very frequently". See MSEX2K3DB for additional information about this event.
As per ME329168, this problem may occur if the message cannot be rendered into the RFC822 standard for Internet text messages. Use a MAPI client to login and download the message.
Error code: 0x7d6 - As per Microsoft here is the fix (performed on client side):
1.  Start Outlook
2.  Tools: Services
3.  Click Internet Email and Remove
4.  Save changes
