Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

Omnis Server: Web Client socket bind failed.
|English: Request a translation of the event description in plain English.|
Gerko van Ojen
This error can occur when the Omnis executable file of the Web client server is started twice. In that case, the default server port (5912) is already in use when starting it for the second time. It is also possible that another program is using port 5912. Changing the default server port (5912) can be a solution.
