Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
Microsoft Server For NFS Activity Log
Client: <IP address>
File Name: /sysvol/.
|English: Request a translation of the event description in plain English.|
As per Microsoft: "This problem may occur after you install the Microsoft security update MS04-011. Security update MS04-011 contains a regression from an earlier hotfix that is described in the Microsoft Knowledge Base article 827684. After you install MS04-011, the computer tries to mount the Sysvol folder every 10 minutes. If the Windows 2000-based computer is not a domain controller, the mount does not work. The Sysvol folder only exists on domain controllers". See ME842638 for a hotfix.
