As per ME972797, this can be recorded in specific conditions (You connect a Windows Server 2008 failover cluster node to an external storage device, and you use Microsoft Multipath I/O (MPIO) together with Microsoft Device Specific Module (DSM) to manage the external storage device). If a failover occurs on a back-end disk controller this can be recorded. See the article for a hotfix.
