Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

I tried to deploy AutoCAD 2008 with a group policy and I received this event. On the Autodesk forum, some one gave me a tip. Download the Windows Software SDK. One of the installed tools is Orca. Run it and open the MSI file. Select Tables -> add tables -> add the Upgrade table. Save the MSI file. After this, the file was able to deploy. See the link to “Autodesk Discussion Groups - ThreadID 603521” for the discussion.
I was getting this error when I tried to install updates through Software Installation in Group Policy under Server 2003. The problem turned out to be caused by the fact that when I created the package, a local path was chosen, i.e. "X:\<path>\file.msi" on the server. Make sure to browse out to the actual network share instead of a local path.
