Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
The hardware resources for <COM port> are already in use by another device.

This event might occur after you install the Wacom Tablet and driver for Windows NT 4.0. See ME224337 for details about this problem.
As per Microsoft: "When modems are enumerated by Pnpisa.sys, entries are created in the registry. When installing a third-party driver that is the equivalent of Serial.sys, these entries confuse Serial.sys. During startup, Serial.sys attempts to manage this device and claim those resources already used by the third-party driver. This process fails and reports this as an error when, in fact, it is informational as the device on COM1 is still functioning. To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0". See ME192786 for more details.
