Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

Error <error code> occurred on message 1-1FFB965 during a background cleanup on database "First Storage Group\My Store One(<server name>)".
|English: Request a translation of the event description in plain English.|
|Concepts to understand:|
What is the role of the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service?
As per Microsoft: "A write error may have occurred. This message has been changed by another process or an attempt was made to delete an unreferenced message". See MSEX2K3DB for more details.
ME271984 says this can be the result of running "ISScan". This has never been done on this server, but we tried running ISINTEG as per that article anyway, and that fixed it.
Error: 0x8004010f - See ME288648 - Background Cleanup Errors During Information Store Shutdown Are Misleading: "This issue can occur because Exchange 2000 does not suppress these error messages when the store is shutting down. These error messages are misleading and do not indicate a problem. They can be safely ignored."
As per Microsoft: Explanation: A write error may have occurred. This message has been changed by another process or an attempt was made to delete an unreferenced message.
User Action: This is a non-fatal error. No user action is required. The system will retry."
Error: 0x8004010f - Q article ME271984 states that this error is harmless: "During routine background processing, the content of each mailbox size is checked against its limit. If a message contains a pointer to an attachment that is not found in the attachment table, this event is logged. The event may be logged if you use the ISScan utility to remove certain attachments because the messages have pointers to the attachments."
Error 0x3ed - no info.
