Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
The service could not bind instance <instance number>. The data is the error code.

TCP port 25 is used by IIS SMTP service. If another program (typically another SMTP server) is using this TCP port then IIS cannot use it and this error message is generated. Decide what SMTP server you want to use and disable the other one.
To obtain the name of the program that uses this port use the “netstat –abn” command, eventually redirected in a text file.
See ME907971 to solve this problem.
Microsoft recommends that you disable Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) socket pooling feature (DisableSocketPooling). See ME281760, ME292733, and ME322023 for additional information.
Make sure you have a unique IP address for each virtual server. See ME256132.
