As per Microsoft: "This event usually indicates that there are networking issues in the environment. Network connections may be sporadic. This is usually caused by a bad network interface card (NIC), a bad driver, or a NIC configured to use the Auto Sense option to detect port speed". See MSEX2K3DB for information on this event.
