First, check ME316622 for possible causes. If you find no match to your situation check the System event log carefully and see whether the server got restarted or not around that period of time (the time when you got this error. If you find that the server got restarted at that time you can ignore this error (explained in ME841576).
- Error code: 0x8007007e - This issue occurs because the Exchange OLE DB provider (ExOLEDB) cannot be started when the events system folder does not have a local replica on the source server. See ME929292 for a hotfix applicable to Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. See ME316622 for additional information about this event.
- Error code: 0x8000ffff - This problem may occur if duplicate StoreEvents system folders are present in Exchange 2000 Server. See ME924171 to troubleshoot this problem.
I received this error during maintenance of the private and public stores. However, if no maintenance is performed, this error could also be an indicator that the Information Store service has restarted, potentially due to corruption.
Error code: 0x8004010f = "MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND" - Event sinks do not function properly if the SystemMailbox{GUID} Mailbox is absent from an Exchange Mailbox Store". See ME316622 to solve the problem.
Error code: 0x80004005 - As per Microsoft: To resolve this issue, manually rebuild the Recipient Update Service (RUS) so that every user object receives the correct attributes. To rebuild the Recipient Update Services follow these steps:
1. Open Exchange System Manager.
2. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
3. Expand Recipients, and then expand Recipient Update Services. In the right pane is a list of all Recipient Update Services, in this pane right-click each Recipient Update Service, one at a time, and then click Rebuild. See ME273448.
