This error was found while deploying Microsoft Office using Group Policy. The initial installation did not complete and subsequent tries were halted pending a response from a user. As the software was assigned to the P.C. using Group Policy, this error never appeared on the screen and therefore automated installs always failed. To resolve this problem the software installation package must be started manually from the PC and the prompt will appear to correct the installation.
