Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

Woodrow Wayne Collins
From SNMP Traps Whitepaper: "Symptom: ATA Disk Status Change. This trap signifies that the agent has detected a change in the status of an ATA disk drive. The variable cpqIdeAtaDiskStatus indicates the current disk drive status. User Action: If the physical drive status is smartError(3) or failed(4), replace the drive".
After I installed HP/Compaq Support Pack 6.3, the problem disappeared.
