The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
The DFS Replication service failed to contact domain controller to access configuration information. Replication is stopped. The service will try again during the next configuration polling cycle which will occur in 60 minutes. This event can be caused by TCP/IP connectivity firewall Active Directory or DNS issues.

What is DFS?
This is a new Event ID for Windows Server 2003 R2 SP1 found in a new DFS Replication log.
- Error: 160 (One or more arguments are not correct) - Check network connectivity.
- Error: 1355 (The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted) - Check network connectivity. Consider adding any Dfs roots/replicas that are not on this computer but are on others in the domain.
