What is the role of the Microsoft Exchange Directory service?
This error occurs when Exchange Server checks the USN from an incoming replication message and determines the number is too high. This is a normal occurrence when moving bridgehead servers within a site or replacing servers within a site. In these circumstances, this error can be ignored. See ME174165 for details.
The Exchange Server computer that is receiving this event has one or more objects in its directory with USN-Changed attribute values greater than the latest USN-Changed attribute value given to an object in the directory. See ME243438 to find out how you can fix this problem.
