Event ID: 129 Source: ql2300

Reset to device \Device\RaidPort1 was issued.
We were getting a couple of event 11 & 129, one of the drives in the MSL library dissapearing from the backup application.

We have resolved same problem doing the following:
1. Updated the Microsof patch  (See ME915858)
2. Updated the HP PSP to the latest
3. Updated the Storport device driver  5.2.3790.4021 (See ME932755)
The issue that can cause Exchange, SQL, Oracle or other I/O dependent services to fail appears to be with the QLogic controller if you examine the event log. However, the QLogic controller is not the actual culprit, nor does it appear to be the SAN or storage connectivity. The problem appears to be caused by the Microsoft’s port driver, specifically an incorrectly registered file, Iologmsg.dll. See ME915858 for information on this issue. Our specific error was sent by source ql2300, but it appears that this will apply to the event 129 from a storage system associated source.
