Cause: This is most often caused by incorrect permissions on the specified directory.
Resolution: Check the permissions on the directory.

The account running "Live Communications Server" service should have MODIFY access to the logging directory and READ access to the root drive of the logging path. Fix the NTFS permissions to enable proper logging. The path is specified in the Live Communication Server 2005 administrative console.
