Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

ME222189 provides a description of disk groups in Windows Disk Management.
Dmdiag.exe migth be usefull in this situation. As per Microsoft: "Disk Manager Diagnostics is a command-line tool that puts out system state and configuration information describing disk storage".
These errors can occur in many circumstances, but usually when using strange cheap raid controllers. The fastest way to recover a disk in this type of event is to run: "dmpss repairconfig 1" , where 1 stands for the diskid. The dmpss.exe file is provided by Microsoft Support Services.
This event appeared after a hard disk failure.
In my case this occured after a Brocade SAN fabric zoning configuration lost all SAN drives on W2K servers until a reboot of W2K.
