Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

Error 1219, DSID 11a0bc1, adding SID to object ?.
|English: Request a translation of the event description in plain English.|
|Concepts to understand:|
What is NTDS and what are the roles of its components?
See ME839880 for details on this event.
From different newsgroup posts: The error occurred when trying to run a migration test from an NT 4.0 (or Windows 2000) domain to another or when trying to migrate or clone a user using different migration tools. Among the proposed solutions:
- "If you have a share mapped up between the domains disconnect all of them and try again."
- "This means that there exists another connection with different credentials to your domain controller. Try using "Net use * /del" to close all connections. Also try "net session" on DC to see if there is any session still alive. If so "net session * /d" to close all."
