Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

The site <site> has no child NTDS Site Settings object. Please use the Active Directory Sites and Services Snap-in to create an NTDS Site Settings object for this site.

This is not a problem. This is a miss configuration of the Active directory Sites and Services. You just have to create an NTDS Site for the object that your DC is using. If this is the only server that you have, try to add your server. Go to Start -> Programs -> Administrative tools -> Active Directory Sites and Services. Now click in the tree view: +SITES +Default-first-site-name +Servers +NTDS Settings. Right click mouse button in NTDS Settings and click the option “New active directory connection”. Select the server to connect click OK, then OK and then Finish. That is all.
