Event ID: 16 Source: Microsoft-Windows-WindowsUpdateClient

Unable to connect: Windows is unable to connect to the Automatic Updates service and therefore cannot download and install updates according to the set schedule. Windows will continue to try to establish a connection.
The most common reason for this event is the lack of Internet connectivity. This could mean any type of disruptions, such as DNS failures, timeouts, intermittent problems. The problem should rectify itself once Internet connectivity is restored.
As per T735620, this error might be caused by one of the following conditions:
- The proxy server settings are incorrect.
- Proxy authentication problems have occurred.
- The connection between the client computer and the proxy server is broken.
The suggested fix is to verify all the potential problems described above and make sure that they are not stopping the communication of the Windows Update Agent on client computers with the server.
