Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
No DNS servers could be retrieved from network adapter <adapter>. Check if the computer is connected to a network and Get-NetworkConnectionInfo returns any results.

In our case we found issues with NIC drivers compatibility. We updated them to latest and issue was resolved.
As per Microsoft: "This Error event indicates the specified network adapter that is configured for internal DNS lookups on the Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Hub Transport server or Edge Transport server is invalid". See MSEX2K3DB for information on this event.
