Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

What Is Virtual Disk Service?
See ME912063 for a hotfix applicable to Microsoft Windows Server 2003.
This problem occurs because the Virtual Disk Service cannot start. See ME931628 to resolve it.
If you receive this event when you uninstall Veritas Volume Manager, see ME947306.
This event might also occur if the Logical Disk Management service is hanging in a stopped state. This can be resolved by ending the dmadmin.exe process through the task manager.
