This problem occurs because the Virtual Disk Service cannot start. See ME931628 to resolve it.

If you receive this event when you uninstall Veritas Volume Manager, see ME947306.
This event might also occur if the Logical Disk Management service is hanging in a stopped state. This can be resolved by ending the dmadmin.exe process through the task manager.
