Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
17550: DBCC TRACEON 208, server process ID (SPID) <SPID>
|English: Request a translation of the event description in plain English.|
The trace flag 208 is equivalent to the "SET QUOTED IDENTIFIER ON" T-SQL statement, and can be generated by applications themselves or the SQL Server ODBC driver. It is normally used by applications to ensure backward compatibility. See ME243352 for more information and resolution.
