When you installed the SDK samples, a version of SQL Server, or rather MSDE (Microsoft Data Engine) was installed on your box. The name of this database is MSSQL$NETSDK.
Component: SpnRegister, Error code: 1231 - SPN stands for "Service Principal Name"
Component: SpnRegister, Error code: 1355 - SPN stands for "Service Principal Name" and the 1355 code means that the name could not be registered in Active Directory.
Component: Bind(MSAFD Tcpip [TCP/IP]), Error code: 10048. - The Socket Error code 10048 indicates an IP that is already in use. Find out which other item is using the same port as MSSQL$NETSDK. It is probably an installation of SQL Server. In this case you have to decide what are going to keep, the MS SQL or MSDE and uninstall the one that you don't need.
