Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
Chassis intrusion detected. This typically does NOT indicate a hardware failure.
1. Contact your Help Desk if you did not personally open your chassis.
2. Enter System Setup & Set Chassis Intrusion to "Clear".
|English: Request a translation of the event description in plain English.|
From a newsgroup post: "Many cases now have a switch that changes a BIOS setting when you open the
case. Usually, this is for a business class machine. To (probably) remove the message appearing, reboot the machine and go into the BIOS setting and look for an option for "Chassis Intrusion Detection" and you can either reset it or disable it. Obviously this is aimed at the company that wants/needs to know when somebody is mucking around inside a machine where they don't belong."
