Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. As per Microsoft: "To work around this behavior, you may disable the usbperf performance library altogether by setting the following registry key.
1. Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
2. Locate and then click the following key in the registry:

Value name: Disable Performance Counters
Data type: REG_DWORD
Value data: 1
