Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
"UPS Enabling SmartTrim".
|English: Request a translation of the event description in plain English.|
This event indicates that the UPSís power supply line is supplying too much voltage and the AVR technology in the UPS is "trimming" the voltage to an acceptable level. When the condition ceases, a 1060/APCPBEAgent information event with the description "AVR Trim No longer Active" should appear in the Application event log. To solve this problem: In PowerChute, set Upper Bypass Limit to its highest possible setting and Sensitivity to its "Low" setting. If the condition persists (i.e. a 1060/APCPBEAgent info event does not appear in the Application event log) an electrician should be hired to service the power supply line.
