Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
A drive failure notification has been received for the SAS physical drive located in bay 2. This drive can be found in box 1 which is connected to port 2I of the array controller P400 located in server slot 1. The failure reason received from the HP Smart Array firmware is: MARK_BAD_FAILED.

This event was caused by a failed Hard disk (Disk 72GB 15K SAS 2.5” Serial no ST973451SS) on a HP ProLiant DL380 G5CZC7273WD2 server.
