We had about half our Outlook clients start doing this when they were migrated from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007 using the same Exchange Server 2003. ME958443 didn't fix it for us. Note: We all use .pst files for default mail delivery.

What did work for us is the following:

[1] At the client machine quit Outlook and use the Task Manager to make sure it quit completely.

[2] Using the Mail Control Panel, set the client's default mailbox to the "Mailbox - clientname" item and close it.

[3] at the Start -> Run window, type "outlook.exe /resetfolders" (you may have to include the full path to the outlook.exe file). Outlook will launch.

[4] Quit Outlook and restore the default mail delivery .pst.

[5] Launch Outlook and all should be well. We have noticed some clients take a little time for their Free\Busy information to be available to others (sometimes 24 hours+).
These issue occurs because a mailbox property does not correctly reference a hidden message in the mailbox. See ME958443 to solve this problem.
