This occured when I used a Microsoft Optical Wheel Mouse on a Windows 2000 Professional system. The mouse and keyboard would freeze (but the system was ok otherwise). I have replaced the mouse and the problems dissapeared. This event was accompanied by event id 18 from the same source.
This message indicates a bad keyboard.
You can recive this message when the system start-up without mouse and/or keyboard connected (when you use a passive switch for keyboard and mouse).
