Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.
The DHCP allocator detected network address translation (NAT) enabled on the interface with index '<number>'. The allocator has disabled itself on the interface in order to avoid confusing DHCP clients.
|English: Request a translation of the event description in plain English.|
|Concepts to understand:|
What is DHCP?
What is a DHCP Lease?
This warning means that the DHCP allocator service is not binding to the public interface. This is by design. See "JSI Tip 3056" for details.
This issue can occur if the NAT service logging level is set to log errors and warnings. See ME271994 for more deatils.
