What is an HRESULT?
What is the role of the Windows Search Service?
This event may be recorded when Outlook is started and shut down right away (using the X window button).
According to Symantec, this event may be recorded when exporting to a PST file from Symantec Vault Admin Console, Enterprise Vault, Compliance Accelerator (CA), or Discovery Accelerator (DA). They recommend uninstalling the Windows Search role / feature on the CA and DA servers.
According to several support forums, this event can simply be ignored. Another suggestion is to stop the Windows Search Service, though some search functionality (such as searching through Outlook emails) may be lost.
You may experience this issue in Windows XP if you install a Microsoft Office 2003 program after the 2007 Microsoft Office system is installed. See ME930010 to solve this problem.
