As per Microsoft: "This issue can occur if you have a Universal Serial Bus (USB) device or devices, such as a Microsoft USB keyboard or mouse, attached to an Entrega 3U1E conversion hub". See ME255249 for more details.
This error occurs when the keyboard is not connected to the server.
This problem occurred on a W2K proxy server when power options were set to Laptop/Portable. The problem was fixed by setting them back to Always On.
As per Microsoft: "If a PS/2-style keyboard and/or Mouse is not connected to the computer before Windows 2000 startup, the keyboard is not recognized if you connect it later. To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000". See ME262798 for more details.
