Event ID: 32770 Source: BackupExec

A service specific error has occurred. Backup Exec error: 6 SetServiceStatus
This can happen if the Netlogon service is stopped on the machine supposed to run Backup Exec and you try to start the Backup Exec service. The service will not start due to a dependency failure.
I had received this error when starting the Backup Services whether manually or through a reboot and scheduled jobs were not running even though the time had passed.  Found that the Media Server was paused under the "Media" or "Reports" tabs in Backup Exec.  When the Media Server''s check mark on "Pause" was removed, the error was resolved and backups continued normally.

Check if the Media Server is paused under the "Media" or "Reports" tabs in Backup Exec and uncheck "Pause" on the Media Server.
From Veritas - This does not cause any problems to Backup Exec or to the system. The message is informational. There are currently no workarounds for this error. See Veritas TechNote ID: 251871.
