The Citrix service named Citrix XTE Server reported the following error: <error message>.

In the Citrix newsgroups, you can find following causes for this error:
1. The folder "XTE" under “%programs%\Citrix” has the attribute "hidden".
2. The "NetworkService" account that is used by the Citrix XTE service as the service account has lost full access privilege on the folder "XTE" under “%programs%\Citrix”.
- Error message: "0 listening sockets available, shutting down" - In our case, the Citrix server did not accept any connections over ICA. The ICA listener was corrupted. Recreating the ICA listener solved the problem and the events disappeared.
