Backup Exec Alert: Job Failed
(Server: "Server01") (Job: "Backup Name") Backup Name-- The job failed with the following error: Resources specified for snapshot do not have any valid data on them. Check if files were deleted or renamed.
This error may also originated at the lack of free memory. In our case, the memory consumption was at 92% causing failed backup jobs with this specific error. (The error text indicates a VSS problem which is misleading).After rebooting the server, the used memory was at 39% - and the backup job did run again.
