Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

This problem may occur after you install Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004 Service Pack 2 (SP2). See ME917803 for details.
Some performance counters for Exchange Server are missing. Use the Lodctr.exe and Unlodctr.exe utilities to restore the Performance Monitor counters in Windows. See ME307613 for information on how to do that.
"Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) has a problem in the generation of performance counter objects" and I think this is a bug that will be fixed by Microsoft. Please see the links for a similar problem with SNA.
