The setting referenced in contributor Ionut Marinís comment can also be changed from the LCS console in User Services Global Settings, tab Presence.
From a newsgroup post: "The setting "maximum subscriptions per user" is set to 200 by default (minimum: 10; maximum: 10, 000). You can use the LCS Management API (WMI) to change this setting to a higher value.
WMI class: MSFT_SIPESGlobalRegistrarSetting
You could use wbemtest.exe to change the value".
