As per Microsoft: "When a component that is installed into Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS) throws a fatal exception that is not handled, such as an Access Violation or Division by Zero, this event (or similar) is logged in the Application event log. See ME291365 for more details. See also ME321539 for a bug that causes this event.
After the installation of SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor, this event appeared in the event log. Restarting the “SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor” service cleared the problem.
From a newsgroup post: "The problem was caused by a component which saved an object reference to an instantiated class in a BAS module and shared that reference among classes. This is a bad practice in general, breaks encapsulation, and is a DEFINITE NO NO under COM+."
