Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. This can occur if you have installed Adobe Type Manager 4.0 or Pgpdisk version 6.02 and 6.5. See article ME314118 for more information.
This occurs if a device driver prevents the computer (i.e. a notebook with Win2K in our case) going to standby/hibernating-mode.
- goto c:\winnt\system32\drivers
- search the file mentioned in Source of your event log entry (ATMhelpr.* or whatever ...)
- rename or delete that file (if this error occurs the file in question isn't used anyway)
This may apply to other similar events (i.e. events from or mxnic).
