Build a great reporting interface using Splunk, one of the leaders in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) field, linking the collected Windows events to www.eventid.net. The EventId.Net for Splunk Add-on assumes that Splunk is collecting information from Windows servers and workstation via the Splunk Universal Forwarder.

Modifying the default permissions on Exchange 2000 Server and Exchange 2003 Server mailbox stores and public folder stores can cause this problem. See ME328229 and the link to "Working with Store Permissions" for details.
As per Microsoft: "This issue may occur if you do not have the appropriate permissions to the Mdbdata folder to mount the mailbox or the public store". See ME290215 and ME823022 to resolve this problem.
